Human beings need to be anchored in the world and connected in life. the politics of resentment, division, victimhood, and opportunism. A bizarre mix of neo-Marxism and woke (or liberal) socialism i.e. Meanwhile, its political software is running an elitist, hybrid operating system. Currently, Labour’s political hardware is torn between supporting, or abandoning, Marxist economics. Whenever Marxist Socialism has been adopted as a system of economics and governance, anywhere in the world, it has always ended in failure. It is at the core of conservative philosophy and Conservative politics. Capitalism is not a perfect economic system, but it is the best one the world has ever known. It leads to a meaningless and empty life with societal degradation. Marxist Socialism equates to resentment plus idleness resulting in destructive change. It leads to a meaningful and purpose-driven life with societal progression. Capitalism equates to competence plus hard work resulting in constructive change. We lost these two seats because of what’s happening in Westminster. Our party – and the community in Hilton – is all the poorer for losing a man of such stature, integrity, and exceptional ability. Peter is a hugely talented individual, who worked so hard for local people. We also lost Peter Smith from South Derbyshire District Council. We failed to get Rosa Fawcett elected to the seat held by our late colleague, Gillian Lemmon. It is a bittersweet result for the Conservative Party.
